Joep Geurts

Joep Geurts has been working as a senior consultant at Groenewout since 1 December 2022.

Joep started his career at a supplier of material handling solutions where, as a Sales and Simulation Engineer, he was responsible for the design, feasibility and sales of new mechanized material handling systems. He subsequently became Lead Outbound Process Design at bol.com, with responsibility for the design and setup of the logistics processes and systems. Joep holds a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from TU Eindhoven.

At Groenewout, Joep is primarily focused on logistics feasibility studies and design, tendering and implementation of mechanized logistics concepts.

Willem-Jan Eil

Willem-Jan Eil joined Groenewout as a consultant on 1 December 2022.

He obtained a bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering and a master’s degree in Transport, Infrastructure and Logistics from TU Delft. During his graduation assignment, he conducted research into how certain order characteristics influence the KPIs for various configurations of a logistics service provider’s e-fulfillment warehouse.

Willem-Jan is specialized in modeling, operations research and logistics optimizations.

With his specific expertise, he is primarily focused on projects related to inventory management, warehouse design and logistics optimization.

Rogier Verhaar

Rogier Verhaar has been a consultant in the Groenewout team since January 2023.

He holds a degree in Business Management SME, part of the Technical Business Administration programme, from Fontys University of Applied Sciences in Tilburg. Rogier has previously worked as a Logistics Engineer at Ingram Micro (bol.com) where he gained experience in initiating, realizing and managing optimization and design/redesign projects. Subsequently, as a consultant, he advised and supported companies during logistics feasibility studies and associated projects.

Rogier is specialized in implementing and optimizing logistics processes and is Lean Six Sigma certified.

Based on his expertise, at Groenewout Rogier will focus on logistics optimization and feasibility studies, warehouse design, inventory management and distribution network studies.
