BREEAM for distribution centers: ‘Excellent’ and ‘Outstanding’ have become the norm (Logistiek.nl)

The BREEAM-NL evaluation method has become an integral part of the process when building new distribution centers. The independent assessment method results in the award of a BREEAM sustainability certificate, ranging from one star (pass) to five stars (Outstanding).
In the logistics sector, where BREEAM is tremendously popular, ‘Outstanding’ has become the norm, driven by companies’ efforts to design energy-neutral and ‘gasless’ facilities.
