Knight Frank is an estate agent and commercial/ residential property consultancy founded in London in 1896. Knight Frank together with its New York-based affiliate Newmark Knight Frank is one of the world’s largest global property consultancies. Its global network encompasses 400 offices in 56 countries and more than 18,000 employees. They handle in excess of £498 billion worth of commercial, agricultural and residential real estate annually.
A logistic occupier with a required warehouse of 50.000-60.000 m² was represented by Knight Frank in their search for a new warehouse location in the Netherlands. Groenewout was asked to support Knight Frank by developing a high-level functional layout for this e-commerce fulfilment center to be incorporated in a typical building sketch.
A high-level functional layout was created for the first discussions with their client and developers. It gave relevant info on logistics flows and sizing including sizing of all functional area’s, shape and location on plot, truck flows, parking lots and loading pits.
- Because of our extensive experience in layout definition of warehouses and fulfilment centers we were able to provide in a short lead time a well though high-level layout that defines the logistics solution of the fulfilment center and the important building starting points.
