Determine logistics knowledge, capabilities and training requirements mailmen
PostNL is a mail, parcel and e-commerce corporation with operations in the Netherlands, Germany, Italy, and the United Kingdom. Formerly a subsidiary of TNT N.V., it became an independent company upon TNT’s demerger in May 2011.
The coming years PostNL will dismiss thousands of fulltime mailmen, and replace them through part-time post delivery employees. It concerns mailmen that are working for PostNL for decades. To prepare them for the labor market, PostNL supports them through an EVC training. This training evaluates individual practical working experience, and trains the employee to obtain an equivalent diploma up to the level “Bachelors degree”.
Circa 750 interviews with individual mailmen and other supporting functions in the mail delivery process.
