Focus Real Estate is a project developer with the focus on the end user and the surroundings.

Opportunities

Focus has a plot of land of 160.000 m² in Weert. They wanted to build one big building volume which could be split up in several areas if needed. They asked Groenewout to look at the current design, give recommendations and improvements.  The main focus was on the logic behind the logistic flows for both the building in total, as well as for every area separately.

Solution

Groenewout developed independent of the current design a layout for the land plot. Included were, among others, the divisibility of the building, transport flows around the building, flexibility for the trucks and the dock door positions (for one or several areas).
