Decowraps engaged Groenewout to conduct a second opinion on an in-house performed logistics study in order to determine the capacity requirements and optimal logistics concept. For the new distribution centre, Groenewout defined the Program of Requirements with input of the various stakeholders (based on a turn-key contract with a contractor), selected and awarded the building contractor, assisted in the purchase of the land and requested for changes in the zoning plan.
Following a previous project deciding on warehouse size & logistics concept for their newly built DC, Decowraps initiated a new project to develop a global standard for their logistics processes. Furthermore, Decowraps wanted to investigate the possible gains from implementing a WMS and how product identification & master data management could be improved. Groenewout developed the to-be situation, creating a global standard for all 3 Decowraps locations.
