Mohamed Lasgaa (Mo) is a managing consultant within the Groenewout’s supply chain group since 2005. Mo’s consulting services focus on (re)design of business processes for production, warehousing, physical distribution issues and logistics due diligence in support of mergers and acquisitions projects. Mo has led major (re)designs of supply chains and logistics concepts within numerous multinationals as Forever Direct, Life Technologies, AkzoNobel, PPG, DHL Supply Chain, etc..
He obtained a master degree in Industrial Engineering & Technology at the Antwerp University with a specialization in ICT. Besides he has a postgraduate degree in Industrial Engineering & Management Science at the University of Tilburg with a specialization in Logistics Management. He’s also a certified Black Belt.
Mo also fulfills the role of moderator and guest speaker for three chambers of commerce (‘VOKAs’) in the province of Antwerp at the Supply Chain Management Learning Network program. Mo presents on Supply Chain Planning (incl. multi echelon inventory optimization, sales & operations planning, forecasting, KPI’s).
Besides, Mo is a guest lecturer of the University of Antwerp, Ghent University and VU University of Amsterdam . Mo is co-author of the chapter ‘Sustainable Chemical Warehousing’ of the book. Management Principles of Sustainable Industrial Chemistry.
