Tim van Lohuizen, supply chain consultant at Groenewout, will present a business case on ‘Demand planning & replenishment for perishable goods’ during the Supply Chain Innovations event.
In an environment where products have a very short shelf life, it is essential to maintain the optimal inventory levels to avoid either lost sales or product waste. Based on an example of a specially designed tool, this business case will explore how the tool helps users to make better inventory decisions. The business case addresses topics including demand forecasting, replenishment strategies, user input and visualization.
