September 17, 2019 929 Views

When you’re moving to a new warehouse facility, you preferably want your day-to-day operations to continue without interruption – but how can you ensure that? Job Sonke from Hollister Incorporated and Arthur Zondervan from specialized logistics consultancy firm Groenewout reveal the secret behind a successful relocation project.

Two years ago Hollister moved its European DC in the Netherlands from Etten-Leur to Oud Gastel, a village eight kilometers from Roosendaal. The relocation involved the transfer of the equipment and products from the original 11,000-square-meter facility to a 30,000-square-meter warehouse.
