Logistics concept based on strategy of operational excellence

Description
This postal company operates around 1,200 national post offices. Within these post offices a wide variety of products are sold including stamps, bus tickets, brochures, books, cards and cell phones In addition to these post offices, the postal company also supplies 3,000 retailers with a dedicated product portfolio.

Opportunities
The postal company has outsourced both warehousing and transportation with several Logistics Service Providers (LSP). All these contracts expire at the end of 2003.
