Stainless steel producer operates a “temporary” warehouse facility in the Benelux. To come to a final decision on permanently rebuilding the Benelux warehouse, Stainless steel producer first required insight in their optimal Benelux/Germany distribution structure.
Solution
Groenewout derived the optimal distribution network structure to support the current and future business of stainless steel producer business within the Benelux & Germany. This distribution network design was supported by supply chain simulation software with which the operational costs for several feasible distribution concepts were compared.
